The mosque is located in the center of Caliskan village, which is within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province. Caliskan village is located 81 km southeast of Batman city center and 34 km northeast of Gercüş district centre.

The entrance of the mosque, which extends in the east-west direction, faces west. The mosque measures 9.80 m in the east-west direction and 7.00 m in the north-south direction and has a rectangular plan. There is a mihrab niche on the south wall of the mosque, which consists of only a sanctuary, and a round arched niche on the north wall. The mosque has a barrel vault and was built in the form of a flat roof with soil from above. The eastern and western walls and upper cover of the mosque have largely collapsed. There is destruction in the mosque, in which cut stone, rubble stone and cas mortar were used in its construction.
