The cemetery is located on the slope 5k north of Dereiçi (Çayelo) village in Sason district of Batman province. Dereici village is located 60km northeast of Batman city center and 20km southwest of Sason district center.
Today, most of the old graves in the cemetery area where burial processes are still continuing are in a scattered state.
