The settlement is a Medieval Castle located on a high mountain peak overlooking the plain, in an area called Dezge Tepe, at an altitude of 591 meters above sea level, 400 meters northeast of the Kantar Bridge, connected to the city center of Batman.

The castle was built on an area of 95 m north-south and 105 m east-west. Many Medieval pottery can be seen on the top of the hill and around the castle. The entrance door of the castle faces south, and a pit (probably) used as a hearth was observed just to the north of the door jamb hole. There are large cisterns at the southwest and west ends of the castle. The ruins of the city walls can be seen around the summit. It can be seen from the foundation ruins in the castle that the spaces are square and rectangular planned spaces close to the square. On the eastern slope of the summit, there is an area used as a quarry where the blocks used for the fortification and space walls of the castle were extracted.
