The East and West castles of Atlıhan hamlet are located within the borders of Hasankeyf district of Batman province. Atlıhan hamlet is located 8.75 km southeast of Kantar Bridge and 4.00 km east of Akarca hamlet.

In the residential area called Atlıhan Eastern Castle, on the hill where the steps from the northern slope end and where these steps end, trenches carved into the rock and the remains of the city walls were found for the purpose of observing the environment. The area where the wall is seen is also where the entrance gate of the castle settlement is located. On the upper part of the castle, a large terrace where the rocks were leveled and large water cisterns, residences and a mosque were encountered around this terrace. All identified cultural remains were carved into the rock. There is no present-day settlement in the area. The area called Atlıhan West Castle is located on the west of the East Castle and on the eastern slopes of Atlıhan Field.
