Located in Hasankeyf Citadel, south of the Great Palace and north of Talim Square, the building is known as the Şeyh Şeref Tomb among the people.

It is not known when and for whom it was built, as there is no inscription or endowment record of the building. However, considering the material used and the masonry, it is thought to belong to the Hasankeyf Ayyubid Period. The building, which was built from rubble stone, is covered with a square planned, octagonal drum dome. Transitions to the dome were provided with squinches. There is a large wooden cist inside the tomb and there are graves around this coffin.
