The residence is located in Dereköy (Maristo) of Sason district, Batman province. Dereköy is located 70km northeast of Batman city center and 7km northwest of Sason district center.

The building, which is placed on a sloping ground in the north-south direction, was built as a single storey. Cut stone, rubble stone and cas mortar were used as construction materials and the house has a flat roof of earth supported by wooden beams.

The residence, whose main entrance is located on the east side, consists of three rooms, a hall, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. There are window openings and niches in different forms on the walls of the rectangular planned spaces used as living room, bedroom and guest room. There are many cross motifs made with scraping technique on the south and east exterior walls of the building, which has no ornamental elements, and on the rock to the south of the house.
