The cisterns are located to the west of the village of Yolveren. Yolveren village is located 16.50 km southeast of Batman city centre.
The mouth diameter of the cistern 1, which is thought to be related to the rock houses no. 3 and 4, is 0.80 m and its current depth is 1.50 m. Cistern 2 is located 2m southeast of cistern 1. Since the mouth of the cistern was destroyed, the diameter of the mouth could not be taken. The current depth of the cistern is 1.20m.
The cisterns filled with soil and rubble stones have been exposed to natural human destruction. The cisterns, which are not used today, have lost their functions.
