Rock masjid is located on a rocky area 900 m east of the center of Sukeken (Şıkefta) village, which is within the borders of Batman city center. The village of Sukeken is located 22km southeast of Batman city centre.

The mosque, which was built by carving into the bedrock, consists of a single rectangular planned space. The rectangular main entrance carved into the bedrock on the south façade is arranged in the form of a deep iwan drawn in from the façade. The sanctuary is in an east-west direction, with a transverse rectangular plan. The ground code is lower than the main entrance, and the place is reached with a single step carved into the rock. There is a mihrab niche built high from the ground in the direction of the qibla in the harim, while on the other facade walls there are five niches arranged as shelves and smaller oil lamp niches. The mosque is used as a warehouse today.
