It is located in the south-west of the Ancient Road route to the Inner Castle in the city of Hasankeyf, under the Middle Gate no. III.

The masjid, which was carved into the bedrock, consists of a single rectangular planned space. Pillars were placed on both sides of the mihrab niche in order to make the mihrab visible on the south wall. The floor is cas coated on the bedrock. There are niches of different sizes on the east and west walls of the masjid, whose upper cover is a barrel vault. On the entrance door, there is the inscription "Bismillah" in Arabic letters and herbal ornaments.
