Yamanlar village, which is within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province, is located 49 km southeast of Batman center and 7 km southeast of Gercüş district center.

The residence is located on a hilly area on the southwest slope of the village of Yamanlar. The building, which is arranged in two floors by staggering on the ground floor, is in an east-west oriented "L" plan scheme. The building, which is placed on a masonry stone wall, has a barrel vault and a flat earthen roof. In this house without a courtyard, the terrace on the upper floor provides the courtyard function (Picture 1). (Picture 2)

There are two entrance doors in the north and west directions of the building, on the same code as the ground. Ground floor; It consists of two rectangular planned spaces in the north-south direction. In the following periods, the number of spaces was increased by adding intermediate walls to the spaces on the ground floor, where the barn, warehouse and service units are located.

The connection to the second floor is provided by stairs with stone steps in the north. The second floor where the main living units are located; It consists of two spaces and a terrace section. There are niches and window openings on the walls of the spaces. (Picture 3) (Picture 4) Near-square rectangular spaces are covered with barrel vaulted earthen flat roofs. Rubble stone, cut stone and cas mortar were used as materials in the building.
