Important findings of the civil architecture in Hasankeyf with its original architectural features were located as a result of the excavations carried out under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Abdüsselam ULUÇAM at the place called "Kasimiye" by the people of the district, which is at the east of Hasankeyf district center.
These structures, which show a rectangular plan in the east-west direction, are characteristic structures opening to a courtyard in the north, with an iwan in the middle and other rectangular planned spaces added to it on both sides. Niches in the rooms, a pool located in front of the iwan and different types of connections can be seen in every building.
