The cemetery is located in the center of the town of Kayapınar (Aynkaf) in Gercüş district of Batman province. Kayapınar town is located 19km west of Gercüş district.

The cemetery area is spread over an area of approximately 160x25 m in the south of the town and is located on the slope of the hill. There are old tombs as well as modern tombs in the cemetery area surrounded by a protective wall (Picture 1). There are geometric and floral motifs on the foot and head witnesses of some graves; Apart from this, there are also Arabic writings (Picture 2). (Picture 3) The motifs are made in shallow relief decoration. When the Arabic writings are read, it is seen that the old tombs belong to the beginning of the 1900s.
