The cemetery is located in the Binkello area, north of Çukuryurt Village. Çukuryurt village is located within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province. The village is located 45km southeast of Batman center and 9km northeast of Gercüş district center.

There is no tomb or mausoleum of Sheikh Suleiman in the area called Seyh Suleiman Cemetery by the local people. In addition to the tombs of the Early Republican Period, there are today's tombs in the cemetery (Picture 1). While there are no writings and ornaments on the head and foot stones of the early period tombstones, there is the identification tag of the deceased on the late period tombstones (Picture 2). In some of the early period graves, irregular stones were placed on top of each other and built as a wall without using mortar, while the border of the grave was determined by building only a single row of stones around some graves (Picture 3). (Picture 4) The burial process continues in the cemetery today.
