Meşti Valley is located within the borders of Tepebaşı village of Hasankeyf district in Batman province. The valley is located 3.5 km southwest of Hasankeyf center and 3.05 km northeast of Tepebaşı village.

During the studies carried out in the Meşti Valley, 52 rock dwellings were identified. The rock houses are divided into two groups as single space and complex rock houses. Among the 52 rock dwellings observed in the valley, there are 6 complexes that can be unique forms, and 7 single-spaced rock dwellings. On the walls of the houses, there are niches for goods and lamps made in different sizes. Since most of the rock houses were used as animal shelters in the later periods, almost all of the rock houses were damaged.
