Gelyameviya Valley is located within the borders of Hasankeyf district of Batman province. The valley is located 2km southeast of Hasankeyf center and 420m east of the Zevruney Valley.

During the studies carried out in the valley, many rock dwellings were identified. However, in the inventory study, approximately 20 rock dwellings were identified in the Gelyameviya Valley. Most of the rock dwellings have been damaged and their dimensions are unknown. The rock houses in the area are divided into single space rock houses, complex rock houses and two-storey rock houses. There are also rock-cut water channels and cisterns connected to the residences, along with the tower structure that was built in the valley and possibly to watch the valley.
