Rıdvan Mound is located within the borders of Beşiri district of Batman province, on the east bank of the Garzan Stream, 3 km north of the village of Basiri, which is 27 km southeast of the Beşiri district.

It is said that there used to be an Armenian Church (Syriac) and a building surrounded by a perimeter wall on the mound. However, the area of the mound was bought by the Hamidi family in 1964 and a house was built on it. In the southwest direction of the mound, facing the stream, there are terracotta tubes and a waterway whose arch was supported by lime mortar. The secret waterway, similar to the potter system of the Hittites, merges with a circular cistern below which descends below the river level and collects the seeping waters. Late Chalcolithic, Early Bronze, Early Iron Age, Roman and Islamic Period ceramics can be seen on the mound.
