The residence is located in Gökdere hamlet of Geçit village of Gercüş district of Batman province. Geçit village is located 30 km southeast of Batman city center and 13.75 km northwest of Gercüş district center.

The northwestern part of the house, which has an "L" plan, was built as 2 floors (Picture 1). (Picture 2) The eastern section is used as living space and its entrance faces north. The living area consists of a rectangular planned hall and a rectangular planned room. On the north wall of the room to the east of the hall, there are 2 rectangular window openings with stone lintels, enclosed in a circular arch from the inside, and 1 rectangular window opening with a stone lintel on the east wall. The interior of this cradle-vaulted living area was plastered with cas and made of concrete and a flat roof, with cut stone, rubble stone and cas mortar used in its construction. The northwest part of the house was built as 2 floors and the ground floor is used as a barn. The entrance of the ground floor faces east and this entrance is rectangular in form with a stone lintel. The ground floor consists of three rectangular-planned spaces with barrel vaults. Access to the 2nd floor is via the stairs to the south of the ground floor. This floor consists of a single rectangular planned space extending in the north-south direction (Picture 3). This floor is cradle vaulted and was built in the form of a flat roof with soil. Cut stone, rubble stone and cas mortar were used in the construction of the house.
