The mill is located in the area known as Babeşe settlement area by the local people, which is 2.50 km east of Yamanlar village in Gercüş district of Batman province. Yamanlar village is located 49km southeast of Batman center and 7km southeast of Gercüş district center (Picture 1).

The building, which is placed on masonry rubble stone, has a rectangular plan in east-west direction. The top cover of the building has completely collapsed and most of the main walls are almost at the level of the foundation, and there is no endowment record or inscription. The entrance of the building, which is understood to consist of two parts from the surviving wall traces, is located on the north façade. The first space at the entrance has a rectangular plan. The place is planned as an area where wheat sacks, ground flour, feed and bulgur sacks are placed. The second space, located to the east of the entrance section, has a rectangular plan (Picture 2), (Picture 3) Access to the place where the grinding device is located and which is used as the miller's room is provided by the door opening in the east direction. There is a pointed arched gutter on the north wall of the building that allows the water from the mill to escape (Picture 4).

There is a water tower to the south of the mill. The twitch groove, which allows the water to pass into the water tower, was built with large block stones (Picture 5). The mill, in which rubble stone and cas mortar is used, has lost its function and is not used today.
