Haydar Baba Lodge is located in the east of Hasankeyf, in the area called Salihiye Gardens. Zawiya takes its name from the tomb called Haydar Baba. The zaviye and the surrounding structures were shaped around this tomb, and in time, the area around the tomb was turned into a small cemetery.
prof. Dr. At the end of the excavations in 2009 under the chairmanship of Abdüsselam ULUÇAM, the complex of structures called Haydar Baba Zaviye was described as an advanced small complex centered on a tomb.
